MiW- Nelken Line, We are so very excited that our "Nelken" dance video has been accepted to be shown by the Pina Bausch Foundation - Productions GmbH! This was a glorious project to participate in. Our dancers were challenged and inspired, and we all had a great time in the developmental process and then with the final stage. Everyone was having fun and learning as we went along. Dance is so very powerful and what an honour it was to get to do a section of "Nelken!"
Thanks to Ioanna Bili for the initiative and the work, thanks also to teachers Beatrice Ghezzi, Chris Christodoulou, and huge thanks to all who participated and supported it!
And of course, deep thanks to Pina Bausch for creating this in the first place! Have a look! Please share as well, and enjoy, and enjoy the other submissions too!

Annual Fundraising Dance Showcase

7th July, 2019, Watermans Arts Centre, 2pm

Our fourth annual dance showcase raising funds for MiW was a resounding success! We thank all the performers, our teachers, volunteers, and MiW trustees who assisted every step of the way. It took a huge amount of effort, organisation, planning, and hard work and was well worth it! What a joy to embrace this great achievement together for our community!

We are proud recipients of an Atul Pathak Community Award 2019!

On 19 June at The House of Commons, we received this esteemed award from Mr. Atul Pathak OBE. This not only helps to raise awareness of our important work with dance for the community, but also the monetary award helps to ensure the future delivery of our classes. We are very grateful and look forward to our year-long corporate partnership and to the projects that will be developed along the way.

Bedford Park Festival 2019

We had a lovely day at Green Days, Sunday 9th June at the Bedford Park Festival! We met many new members of the West London community and we also met many volunteers from other important local charities. Overall, it was a great day to be there, and to meet and chat with people! Thanks to our trustees, volunteers, and to all who stopped by or took a leaflet or signed up for the mailing list. We will be in touch!

New Class In Brentford - April 2018

Move into Wellbeing® is pleased to announce that a new class has now started in Brentford, at the Danehurst Activity and Resource Centre, Brent Lea, TW8 8HX.

This is part of the NHS Activities for the Over 60's programme (Hounslow Council).

If you are interested, please contact us.

For more details on the class and location, visit our classes page!

Please join us after class on Saturday 7th October at 3pm for an informal and entertaining chat with Chiswick based actor Paul Williamson. Paul will regale us with his stories about the highs and lows of being a working actor for many decades in Great Britain, what it takes to step out of army boots and into the “shoes” of the many roles he was privileged to obtain, how to fend off fans in Italy and convince people he was not a real chauffeur, and what it was like working with Yul Brynner in the West End!

Talk to begin at 3pm, following the 1.45pm Move into Wellbeing® class at St. Peter’s Hall, Southfield Road, London W4 1BB. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be served.  All to wrap up by 4pm.

All are welcome to attend; entry is free. Small donations to Move into Wellbeing® will happily be accepted on the day.
